Files In This Packet: The files are contained in a single word processing file (Microsoft Word 2000 format) with the individual documents "stacked" on top of one another with page breaks in between. Use these forms at your own risk. It is recommended that you seek the advice of an attorney before using these documents. The packet includes:

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Bylaws (for a "membership" organization)
  • Bylaws (for a non-membership organization)
  • Bylaws (for use when the new corporation is to be a wholly controlled subsidiary of another nonprofit)

Name Availability: You can't use a corporate name that is the same (or very similar) to an existing corporation. You can view the Division of Corporation's database to determine if the name you have chosen is available.
